I thought I'd work my hands this afternoon after a year of not sketching anything. I was even pretty excited as I opened my newly purchased sketchbook. But as soon as I raised my pencil, I found myself with no idea what to draw. My hand was hovering above the clean piece of paper for a good couple of minutes, frozen in place.
It struck me at that moment just how bad my artist's block really is.
Somehow the spark that used to drive me to sketch is dying. I still buy art materials from time to time, but I just can't draw like I used to. It has been 3 years since I last posted on dA, and now that I'm attempting again to revive my love for dr

We're all okay, can you believe that Xyrene got runner-up in the intrams instead of Zenith? Calyx, the seniors got 1st, of course. Biology is killing my brain, and Math is killing Meryl's, but other than that, we're all okay. School fair's tomorrow (16 and 17), Meryl has a booth, so I'll try to upload pics!
